I had a great vacation but am tired from the 12 hr drive that Miguel and I did yesterday. We spent the 2 weeks off at home in Northern California. We took Sophie with us too and the family absolutely loved her.

Tomorrow is my first day back in the clinic in 2010. I’m assigned to work in the SNCU (Special Needs Care Unit) for the week. Our SNCU is really unique. We have a special wheel chair lift to recline people who are not able to get out of their chairs. In SNCU, I am liable to see anyone with a complex medical history or a developmental disability. I’ll stay posted on the exciting things I learn this week!
