The WCN provides assistance and guidance on issues for clinicians in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.
This year’s conference will have several marquee presentations such as the American College of Physician Executives’ Leadership Training, Emergency Preparedness- Bioterrorism/Natural Disasters, and a motivational Key Note address by Jack Dillenberg titled, “Compassion: Inborn or Bred.” Continuing the theme of strategic partners, this year we will present working relationships between hospitals and CHC’s and investigate the potential for multi-level interconnectivity, including emergency room diversion, and capital formation ideas.
Also included are the conference classics, such as the Health Care Disparities Collaborative update, which this year will showcase the new oral health component, FTCA/Risk Management, and the New Clinical Director Orientation. Don’t forget to come by the WCN booth to pick up your New Clinical Directors Tool Kit!
We have designed a well paced conference this year that will not only allow you to earn valuable CME units, but also allow you to network and catch up with your colleagues. Don’t miss the elegant reception Monday night, hosted by the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers, and for the musically inclined, Tuesday night’s bonfire down by the lake. Bring your instruments!
This will be a conference to remember!
See you there,
Shawn Guerin, DDS
WCN President
I have not read this but it should prompt some comments or at least provide some good reading.
Dr. King suggests that we volunteer for one or more of these topics to develop them and put out for discussion.
